PROCUREMENT

The Nagarkurnool Milk Shed is covering 215 villages, milk is procured through 2 Milk Chilling Centers and about 7 BMCUs operating by Telangana State Dairy Development Co-Operative Federation Ltd, DRDA IKP and Society Mode .

  • TSDDCF Ltd is arranging milk purchase price of Rs.600 per Kg Fat for Buffalo Milk and Rs.240 Per Kg Total Solids for Cow        milk and Rs.4/- per Litter milk incentive to the milk producers in the Nagarkurnool District, Telangana state.
  • Government has announced Rs.4/- per liter from 01.11.2014.
  •  Out of the 215 collection centers under Nagarkurnoo milk shed, 30 centers are equipped with Electronic milk testing (EMT)        instruments and also 185 milk analyzers..
  •  Convergence with Animal Husbandry Department, District Livestock Development Agency and Dairy Development           combined activities to increase milk production in Nagarkurnool by way of breed development and Production enhancement programmers conducted.

Marketing.
Nagarkurnool District was not have any marketing network previously, now we are going to establish 3 nos of Vijaya parlors i.e Kalwakurthy,Achampet and Nagarkurnool

Department of Dairy Development Activities in Nagarkurnool District.

  1. The  Nagarkurnool District Procuring milk 2 MCC  and 7 BMCU ‘s from 215 Villages covering 41751.5 liters / per day milk procurement.
  2. TSDDCF Ltd., is milk purchase price minimum Rs. 31.37  for cow milk  and minimum Rs.33.80 for buffalo milk.
  3. Incentive Rs.4/- per litre is due from May-2019 to till date 
  4. Implementation of TIP  (Technical Inputs) Programme to milk producers for enhancement of quality milk production at milk collection centers  level w.e.f.01-05-2018.
  5. One curd plant establishment work has started at peddakothapally mandal under RURBAN Scheme.
  6. Special drive for providing kisan credit card (KCC) to vijaya milk producers.in this connection we have submitted 7226 of applications to the concerned banks.Only Bank approval is delaying to sanction the KCC to milk producers.
